My iPhone Would Not Connect to Wi-fi
This morning the home Internet was not working on any device, so I unplugged the modem and plugged it back in. Everything connected except my iPhone. I selected the connection and it kept telling me the password is wrong on Wi-fi.
I was told to “forget this network” and try logging in again and again but it always said my password is wrong. Considering everything else was using the same password, it became so frustrating.
I did a hard reset on the phone several times but made no progress with the password. I checked for a phone update and ran it. I tried again to connect to the Wi-fi but the same thing happened, telling me the password is wrong.
I finally just wrote it in my phone notes and then copied it and pasted it into the password area – and it finally connected to Wi-fi. I do not know if it would have connected by doing this from the beginning but next time, I know to try that. I cannot understand why my typing it in is different than pasting it in (as I have typed it in many times prior), unless it now throws in an extra space after I type.
