Secure Trash Bags in Canisters
Do you have a flip top trash can? Do you have trouble keeping bags from staying in place?
I kept seeing the bags just loose or flowing out the side of the trash can, in view when lid is shut, and often falling down into the canister when someone tosses trash into the bag. I found a way to tighten the bags and make them taught in the canister.
I noticed a hole in the canister – I took the bag, pulled the strap tight, twisted the bag with the strap and pushed it through the hole. It sets the bag tight and keeps it in place. It seems many others have no idea that can be done and are glad I showed them. Photos - 1. Canister flip top trash can, 2. pull canister up and find the hole, 3. get the strap of the bag and cinch tight then twist and insert into the hole. PR
