it's virtually impossible to know how a magic trick was performed. Often it's a false bottom or a false compartment that is hidden from
your view. Sometimes it's the magician drawing your attention away while he adjusts where the hidden object will appear from. Sometimes
the "magic" is pulled from the magician's coat sleeves. He or she will trick you into believing things are happening one way, and
suddenly you see it's different from an expectation. When you cannot explain how the illusion happened, you know it as "magic." It's
a fun hobby or entertainment pass-time. If you get really good, perhaps you can charge admission or perform at a street performer's
area and pass the hat for tips. Magic is the art of making you believe a different type of reality which may not really be reality....

Practice these so you will be able to tell the difference. Blood flows with movement, with lifting an arm or leg over the
head, etc. Check how you can tell the difference in color from one hand or arm from another when you move
it over your head or some other way. It will probably take practice for you to see the difference.
When you can tell the difference, you are ready to call upon a
"volunteer" who will take an object from you and make the motion you can detect from - perhaps it must remain
in position for several seconds. Use a small ball or die or
something - hand it to the person, and have him hold it over his head, or up to his forehead to "concentrate" or
whatever works for you, while you turn away and don't look. Then have him hold both hands out, wrists clenched, and turn around
to pick the hand which holds the object, based on the color difference. No one will suspect how you guessed right!

Stick Pins in Your Thumb Magic Trick
Have a handkerchief or cloth, sharp pins, and a thumb-sized portion of carrot (hide the carrot in your fist).
Announce that you will poke your thumb full of pins. Then throw the cloth over the fist holding the carrot.
At the same time put the carrot up to hold up the cloth, so it looks like your thumb is holding it.
Stick the pins into the carrot, which looks like your
thumb under the cloth. Then pull the pins out, and whisk off the cloth (keeping the carrot with the cloth, holding
it tightly so not to drop it, and not to look like the carrot is there). Show your thumb and entire hand so
people can see nothing happened to you.
