The ezine readers must be opt-in (they requested to receive the ezine). Ezines are
sent to people wanting the information presented, and readers tend to trust the
publisher.
The best ads to send are "solo" ads - ads with no other ads within - it
is the sole ad on the mailing - IF the publisher provides an incentive for
readers to read the solo ads, and IF the subject line is your headline when it is sent
out, and IF the ezine is quality enough to have loyal readers.
Next are "sponsor" ads - in which the ad appears in
the ezine - top, bottom and inserts within a good article pull the best - top being the preferrred.
Classifieds fare the worst - people have trained themselves to skip right past the
